Simple ways to compare everyday colors
My old glasses need replacing, and I am trying to narrow the frame colors before visiting the optician again. I have found three versions of a comfortable frame: dark brown, transparent grey, and a fairly subdued red. I usually wear fairly plain clothes, so the frames will be one of the most noticeable colors near my face. While reading about ways to compare those options, I found personal color analysis and I am curious how people apply that sort of advice to something worn every day. Would you compare the colors without makeup first, then try them again with your normal clothes and makeup? A friend can help me compare them, but photographs may be less useful than seeing the frames directly. I would welcome a simple comparison method for cases where the fit is right and several colors seem plausible.
